Four of My Favorite Breast Cancer Awareness Products - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Good morning, girls. Hope you slept well. 🙂 I wanted to touch base before running off to the Convention Heart.
Each October (admittedly, more now than in past years), I get a few limited-edition chest cancer awareness (BCA) products for myself and to give as gifts to friends and family.
I'thou amazed by how much Breast Cancer Awareness Month has changed over the past few years. Like almost everything else in our part of the world, the event's been heavily commodified and commercialized, but I'm okay with that. If the sight of those little pinkish ribbons in every nook and cranny of our lives increases our awareness of the disease (even if nosotros don't always similar the manner some choose to employ it), I think information technology benefits the states all.
So here are iv of my BCA favorites of the year. 🙂 *LOVE* the Foot Petals heart-shaped pad…
Sonia Kashuk Bag Lady Corrective Instance
How 'tour the print and dual zippers on this pretty pink makeup bag? Information technology's one of several items from Sonia Kashuk's Store Pink Practice More than collection from breast cancer survivor and beauty genius Sonia Kashuk.
Cute, right? It holds a ton of makeup, and fifteen% of the purchase toll goes to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Where to buy: $12, check your local Target store
Papyrus Blank BCA Notecards
I starting time spied these cute blank notecards at Papyrus a few months agone.
The colors and designs always bring a smiling to my face…
Each box comes with four different illustrations (20 cards total), with 10% of the price going toward The Chest Cancer Research Foundation, and this is something they're doing not just throughout October but year round.
Where to buy: $15, at Papyrus stores.
Foot Petals Rose Heart Tip Toes
In my favorite sandals these bad boys make me experience like I've been walking on air, and Pes Petals donates 10% of each sale to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Where to buy: $7, Footpetals.com
ghd Pink Set
This ambrosial, pretty-in-pink set comes with ghd styling fe (aka the hair god's souvenir to frizzy-haired women everywhere), two hair clips, a pink brush and ii matching numberless (to help acquit all of your hair styling essentials).
It's awfully pricey at $255 just comes with so much stuff that it works out to be a pretty skillful deal — ghd stylers tin can run nearly $270 for the iron solitary.
For each set sold, ghd will donate $15 to the Young Survival Coalition.
Where to buy: $255, at ghdhair.com.
Your friendly neighborhood dazzler addict,
Karen
